Tour of St Cecilia's Hall

Tickets £5 to include a cup of tea/coffee following the tour. Tours last approximately 50 minutes. Bookings for this event must be made by Friday 20 November.

In celebration of St Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians and church music, we are organising a guided tour of Edinburgh University's St Cecilia's Hall. Fifty of the world's most important and best preserved early keyboard instruments including harpsichords, virginals, spinets, organs and fortepianos are on display.

We will also see the auditorium which dates from 1763, making it the oldest concert hall in Scotland and the second oldest in Britain.

Patrons and Friends Christmas Lunch at the Caledonian Hilton hotel

Friday 11 December, 1.00pm, Pompadour Restaurant, Caledonian Hilton Hotel, Princes Street. Tickets £25 to include three-course festive lunch, two glasses of wine with a liqueur to follow. Bookings for this event must be made by Friday 4 December.

Join Christopher Wynn, sponsorship and development director, at a festive lunch in the elegant Pompadour restaurant within the Caledonian Hilton Hotel. The spectacular views of the castle and Princes Street and delicate Chinese paintings adorning the walls ensure a memorable dining experience.

Festive Cheer with special guests Three Divas and a Piano

Tickets £14 to include mulled wine and mince pies Bookings for this event must be made by Thursday 10 December.

The divas and their piano debuted in 2007. All are classically trained and perform a wide range of music, from Mozart to Flanders and Swann. The Three Divas - Alison Bishop, Hilary Neville-Towle and Nicky Wood - and their pianist Jonathan Harris will provide a relaxed evening of merry making, with fine music, mulled wine and scrumptious mince pies.

Reception to celebrate the launch of Festival 2010

Friday 19 March, 6.00pm - 8.00pm, Cafe Hub
Tickets £18 to include drinks and light bites. Bookings for this event must be made by Friday 12 March.

Join Festival Director Jonathan Mills and the Festival team for a celebration of the 2010 Festival. Jonathan will share his Festival thoughts with you, expanding on the New World theme and highlight the must-book summer events.

Jonathan's talk will start at approximately 6.10pm once guests are seated. After his talk there will be plenty of opportunity to mingle, refill your glasses and enjoy Cafe Hub's light bites.
