Ross Theatre and Princes Street Gardens
Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert

Princes Street Gardens lie in the heart of the city at the foot of Edinburgh Castle. Every Festival they play host to the Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert, where thousands of spectators gather to watch the Scottish Chamber Orchestra perform in the Ross Theatre. The music is synchronised with the spectacular fireworks display which lights the sky above.

Level access to the Ross Theatre is approximately 200 metres from the King's Stables Road entrance. To avoid congestion on the access paths you are advised to arrive before 8.00pm.

Ross Theatre: there are wheelchair spaces available in the Ross Theatre, at the front of the seating bank.

Princes Street Gardens: in Princes Street Gardens, wheelchair spaces with space for one companion are available in a specially designated area behind the Ross Theatre seating. Space for additional companions is provided immediately in front of the wheelchair area, please ask a steward on the night for access. Please let us know if you would like to use either of these areas when you book tickets for the Ross Theatre or Princes Street Gardens.

There are disabled toilet facilities in the disabled viewing area and behind the Ross Theatre. A wheelchair accessible toilet is also available in the public toilets at the West End of the Gardens.

Please note that the Gardens have no specialised facilities and that the area becomes very crowded. This combined with the noisy fireworks, means that it is not advisable to bring guide dogs and hearing dogs to this event as it may cause them distress.
